After a string of corporate jobs including Apple Computer Europe Inc, Monika founded and managed her own multimedia development company, Made by Magik Productions, from 1993 to 1997.

Monika has been involved in the field of multimedia production for the past twelve years, since working at Apple Computer's European Headquarters. While at Apple, Monika managed the support of new technologies for large accounts during the release of QuickTime, the digital video standard for personal computers. She helped to implement some of the first applications of multimedia in Europe for such clients as Volvo, Dutch Television & Radio Broadcasting and KPMG.

In 1994, Monika founded Made by Magik Productions, an interactive multimedia communications company. At Made by Magik, Monika helped to form the strategy for BC Yellow pages to take advantage of online advertising, created one of the first online catalogs for True North Clothing Company, and managed the development of the ICBC website. Some of Made by Magik's other clients included BC Tel interactive, Dominion Directory BC Yellow Pages,WorldExport.com, Future Shop, and the BC Transplant Society.

In July of 1998 Monika left her career in purely corporate internet production and founded GreenDreams Productions, with the goal of creating internet, CD-ROM and DVD projects to help raise awareness about environmental issues and further the causes of environmentally and socially responsible businesses and organizations.

Ms. Marcovici holds a BASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, complemented with a post graduate degree in Information Systems at the University of Geneva, and courses in graphic design at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.
