Going home....wait....

Catherine says "Can you stay....?"

Deep sleep, phone rings. It's Dez from ITV. Doesn't he know it's 6 in the morning.Yeah yeah you want to hold us, yeah yeah we'll stay if needed. Let me sleep!

In a very rare event for me, I actually go back to sleep. I wake at 10a. Time to get ready and go to the airport, but first and foremost, its time for some Fellini's. Sergio and I head off at 11 and stop at Fellini's (my favorite pizza place in the US). Phone again. This time it's Catherine from Atlantic. "Do you guys want to stay and go to Baton Rouge for Belgium tv?" Sure, why the hell not.

Pizza arrives, Dez releases us. We are on the road. Catherine is working on the logistics. I must thank her for her hard work. She calls and ask if we are interested in staying until next Thursday for Irish TV. Sure, why the hell not.

Sergio and I decide that a stop at Target is in order. Need more clothes. So one stop and it's on the road again. If nothing, we have done ALOT of driving. The search for a hotel somewhat near Baton Rouge begins.

There's a hotel in Hattiesburg, MS with no electricity. Nice and hot and stinky. No thanks...Im a bit to spoiled from the Crowne Plaze I guess. We finally find a Holiday Inn Express in Greenville, MS, only 299.6 miles from Baton Rouge. Sounds good (not really but what are you going to do).

I won't bore you with the details, as it would be alot of "I'm driving now. Lots of tree trucks on the road" or "Sergio is driving now. Lots of electric trucks on the road". Suffice to say, we drove for 9 1/2 hours and checked in to the HIE.

No more fall asleep and Johan from Belgium TV calls and wakes me. Isn't it like 3am for him? Yeah, yeah got the script. Yeah, yeah we'll be there at 9am. Back to sleep.

Two more times Johan decides to call. This guy never sleeps. He wants alot of different things, but doesn't seem to understand that the reality of being in a hurricane zone. We'll get what we can.

Sleeeep....
