Treehouse in the Redwoods

In our search for a house in the Santa Cruz mountains, we looked at a wide variety of properties. One trip up, I was in San Francisco for MacWorld for a few days, and Bob was in Boulder Creek, carrying on the search. He saw some very interesting places. One had a treehouse...

Treehouse 100 feet up, on the sawn-off top of a redwood tree

How better to get to a treehouse 100 feet in the air than by a bridge? Now mind you, the bridge extends only about 30' from terra firma to the treehouse 100' up...

Proof that Bob was safe at all times: our real estate agent, Dennis, blazed the trail ahead of him...

Another shot of the intrepid Dennis on the bridge

Great shot of the bridge and the treehouse (and Dennis)

And how do you get to the rope bridge, you might ask? Why, up the notched-log ladder, of course!
