The Reverse Psycholotron is an interactive art installation. The sole means of interaction is a large red button labeled "do not push."

It is up to the participant to decide what to do.
The machine will stand approximately nine and a half feet tall, and be six feet wide at the front.
It will be made of steel sections, and will be assembled on-site. Anchoring will be achieved by using no less than 6 long "rebar stakes" that will hold down the base of the frame.
The body panels will be made of perforated metal. This is both for artistic reasons, and to provide a marginal reduction in wind loads by allowing some wind to pass through the machine.
At night, for visibility, it will be outlined with a combination of El-wire and cold cathode tubes. A series of high-intensity white LEDs will provide additional illumination.
Participation

No one is encouraged to participate with this project in any way. Performers should not consider creating an act/performance/etc. that relates to The Reverse Psycholotron and utilizes it as a central theme. Those who are bold enough to do so anyway should not contact the machine's creator to discuss possible performance times or to enquire about having the machine's behavior tailored to a particular performance.

Thank you for not being interested.
