Has Terri Schiavo driven the Outfoxed gals to new depths of dissimulation? We have the clips to prove it. With J$P Audio & Video!

It's nothing unusual for the newshounds (another fine product of the Outfoxed mafia) to distort, falsify, and misquote. But even the tail-waggers have never stooped as low as they have with the Terri Schiavo controversy. In the course of just seven paragraphs, newspup deborah serves up five examples of Fox News "hysteria". In what has to be the pinnacle of perfidy, these "examples", one after another, prove to have been falsified by the dishonest tail-wagger:

FNC has been so busy pandering to the extreme right that the facts in this case have been totally ignored and Michael Schiavo,labeled a heartless monster, has been denied an opportunity to tell his side.

Where was he labeled a "heartless monster"? Typical of deb, this claim is unsourced and undocumented. And was he "denied an opportunity to tell his side"? His attorney got twenty minutes on FNC, uninterrupted and commercial-free. So there we have lie #1.

Here are a few examples of irresponsible, biased and inflammatory reporting from the weekend frenzy on Fox News.

It will become clear, as the evidence unfolds below, that this is lie #2.

Megan [sic] Kendall,breathlessly revealed that an audio tape of Terry [sic] Schiavo's Father speaking to his Daughter had been given exclusively to Fox News.Viewers heard Terry's [sic] Father speaking lovingly and finally a gutteral groan or grunt was heard in the background.That was definitive evidence that Terry [sic] Schiavo communicates.

In fact, nothing whatsoever was said about it being any kind of evidence, let alone "definitive evidence", that Terri Schiavo communicates [QuickTime video clip]:



That's lie #3.

Attention was quickly shifted to a story of four men who broke into Schiavo's hospice with water to give their"sister" a drink. Kendall told this story with urgency and admiration for these men.

Megyn Kendall didn't even report this story [lie #4]. And nothing was said indicating "admiration for these men" [mp3 audio file]:



That makes lie #5.

The fact that Terry [sic] Schiavo can't drink the water was not mentioned.

But she swallows her own saliva, so deborah's "fact" is another example of unsourced, undocumented propaganda.

Last night on Heartland, John Kasich asked Schiavo's sister why she thought Terry's [sic] husband continued the struggle....Her theory was that Michael Schiavo didn't want her sister to learn to speak again because she would tell everyone what really happened to her that night. Kasich nodded knowingly.

Outrageous poodle prevarications. The sister never said this was "her theory" [lie #6]. And deborah's claim that "Kasich nodded knowingly"? A boldly brazen falsehood, given the fact that Kasich wasn't even on screen when he asked the question, wasn't on screen when the sister was answering, and he wasn't on screen when, after the answer, he started his next question [QuickTime video clip]:



That's lie #7.

When Isadore Rosenfeld told John Kasich that Terry [sic] Schiavo had no cerebral cortex and could never be rehabilitated, Kasich objected claiming that there was a story of a man exactly like Terry [sic] who had recovered completely.Kasich quickly ended the discussion with Rosenfeld.

Dr Rosenfeld didn't say "never" [lie #8], and Kasich did not object [lie #9]. And what's more he didn't "quickly end the discussion" at that point either [mp3 audio clip]:



That's lie #10.

Randall Terry who appeared on H&C on Friday to rally his army to Florida, is claiming that Terry Schiavo screamed "I want to live!"

But he said no such thing on Friday's Hannity and Colmes. Deb's misrepresentation is just another "report" that is unsourced and undocumented.
