Picture This: NewsHounds Caught in Another Lie (MSNBC too!)

The Outfoxed gals hit new heights of irresponsibility with their latest fraud. Updated! MSNBC joins in the lie.

As dishonest as they are, it isn't that often that the newshounds (another fine product of the Outfoxed syndicate) exhibit this level of corrupt duplicity. To be sure, as the premier Fox haters they have pulled every trick in the book to smear FNC, but this time they have done the impossible: they have surpassed themselves.

This post, from deceptive Donna, says it all:
Fox Weighs In On The Positive Side
While Scooter Libby was found guilty on 4 out of 5 counts, Fox News Live stayed on the positive side by highlighting the one charge he beat. This flashed across the screen at 12:19 p.m. est today.

Is that fair and balanced? Would any other news outlet have ran that headline?

What Donna conveniently doesn't tell you is that the headlines cycled through all the charges. She just picked the one "not guilty" verdict and ignored the rest. But don't take our word for it. The pictures speak for themselves:

When we pointed this out on their website, our comment was promptly deleted. Why? Because Donna lied. Fox did not "highlight" the one "not guilty" verdict. The biased bassets smeared Fox again with cherry-picked, doctored "evidence".

Why should anyone believe anything these hyperpartisan liars say? It's too early to award The Lie of the Week, but Donna's latest smear is clearly the front-runner. You can tell the anti-Fox terriers what you think of their dishonesty here.

Update: We expect MSNBC to lie about Fox when Keith Olbermann is at (or under) the desk. But it's not just Olbermann this time. On Wednesday night Alison Stewart hosted Countdown, bringing in a well-balanced, nonpartisan team of analysts, including Max Blumenthal from Media Matters, and Sam Seder of Air America. Just by coincidence, they happened to discuss this outrageous onscreen banner from Fox:
ALISON STEWART: Fox News felt it was more important for its viewers to understand clearly Lewis “Scooter” Libby not convicted on one count.  Hey, everybody, he got off!  The TV banner reading “Scooter Libby found not guilty of lying to FBI investigators.” ...

SAM SEDER: I mean, they‘re terrified.  That‘s why you see those—that chyron on Fox News, you know, not guilty of one of five charges....

STEWART:  Well, as much as the Fox banner that we talked about a little bit was surprising, we‘ll say, deciding Libby not guilty was the lead, because he got off of one of five charges, do they just know their audience?

How does one banner out of a series that cycled through all the charges become "the lead"? Answer: when MSNBC leaves out all the others, and lies to its viewers. In fact, MSNBC used the same blurry camera shot you see above, the one that circulated on the blue blogs.

As much as we'd like to, we can't pin this one on Keith Olbermann. This is MSNBC lying. You can tell them what you think of their dishonesty here.
