The Outfoxed gals are doctoring quotes again, but that's nothing compared to exploiting a personal tragedy. With J$P Video!

The Fox haters are out in force, and the hub of activity is once again the newshounds (another fine product of the Outfoxed syndicate). We have documented how aggressively the mongrels stifle debate and opposing points of view, and now they have taken the next logical step:

Patti Ann Browne said the following, "On the day when Israel declares victory...." Comments: Of course there are Muslims who watch Fox News in this country and they hear the words Israel and declared victory. In trying to understand them they shouldn't be saying either side could declare a victory.... I especially think that Fox shouldn't be proclaiming that Israel is declaring victory.

Note that Donna doesn't claim the story was wrong, because Israel certainly did declare victory, as did Hezbollah shortly thereafter. No, the newspups want the news of Israel's statement censored because it might hurt the feelings of Muslims! Where were the bowsers when Fox reported that Hezbollah had claimed victory? Why didn't they wail that FNC was hurting the feelings of Jews? Consider this a window into the thinking of the Fox haters. They aren't interested in any points of view other than their own, so much that they insist that news that doesn't conform to their opinion should not be reported!

When Donna isn't calling for censorship, she is misleading readers in other, more devious ways, including another bold-type HeadLie:

Bill Hemmer Wonders Why The Press Is Asking The President Questions About Iraq
While he was talking to Brit Hume, Hemmer posed the question, "I was surprised that so many questions came back to Iraq."... Well, it's hard to blame poor Bill Hemmer on such a silly question after he spent the first 45 minutes and (then after a brief story on the middle east) the last 10 minutes of his show almost exclusively on the escaped prisoner in Virginia and the Jon Benet arrest... even the hosts are putting Iraq completely out of their minds.

Leaving aside the point that Hemmer's "silly question" wasn't a question at all, let's address the falsehood, that Hemmer was "surprised" [QuickTime video]:



Why did Donna doctor Hemmer's words? He never "wondered why" the questions were asked. He never said he was "surprised". Quite the opposite, he found the questions to be particularly interesting and notable ("struck" defined). But telling the truth about what Hemmer said wouldn't give the pooches the headline that they want. So instead they lie, and concoct a phony quote.

By the way, Donna's claim that "an escaped prisoner [what people in journalism call "breaking news" --J$] and a 10 year old murder case get all the time on Fox News Live with Bill Hemmer" is more eyewash. She just leaves out what doesn't fit her frame. For example, two lengthy segments that she pretends never aired:



Finally, the curs' nosedive into obscenity reaches new depths with their use of the kidnapped Fox journalists to take a despicable cheap shot:

Fox News Decides it Needs to Negotiate with Terrorists
Ken LaCorte, the director of news editorial for Fox, arrived in Gaza on Sunday "to press efforts to release the journalists," ... I hope the two are released immediately, in good health, but I do wonder what happened to the mantra Fox has repeated over and over again since 9/11, that "we don't negotiate with terrorists!" I thought negotiating was for wimps.

There has, of course, been no report that Mr LaCorte is negotiating with anyone. More to the point, nobody has claimed responsibility, there have been no communications, and the identity of the kidnappers is unknown. So how can Fox possibly be "negotiating" with anyone? Don't try to figure it out. It's another hound lie.

Meanwhile, the subject of the abducted reporters leads the kennel-dwellers to reveal again just what sort of flies swarm around droppings from the newshounds. These are the voices of the Fox haters, in their own words:
