10. This came in at the last minute but was too good to overlook. Melanie of the newshounds is caught writing a critique of a program she obviously didn't bother to watch:

This being the last day (December 30, 2005) of the business year, one would think that Fox's "premiere business news" program, Your World w/Neil Cavuto, would do a "wrap" of the year's activity on Wall Street, right? Nope. Wrong again. Not on Your World...

9. Newspoodle nancy is caught doctoring quotes and making them up, then tries to lie her way out of it in 'The New York Slime'.

8. In Marey Carey, Quite Contrary, newspup Melanie tries to cover up an embarrassing fabrication with more lies.

7. Anti-Fox terrier nancy gets caught in her own web: she rearranges quotes to falsify their meaning ('It Slices! It Dices! But Wait, There's More!'), gets called out on national television ('I Wasn't About to Let This Sleeping Dog Lie'), then tries to get even by leveling a false charge of plagiarism ('Asman Bites Dog').

6. 'Crazy Eights': another spectacular from nancy hound, who is caught in no less than eight falsehoods.

5. Oliver Willis gets himself into another fine mess with 'Oliver's Story', 'Good Willis Hunting', and 'A Touch of Frost'.

4. Salon.com is caught in a humiliating deception ('Boehlert's Bluff') but refuses to admit the truth ('J$P Email to Salon Editor'). It's part of a pattern ('So Wrong Dot Com').

3. 'They're Just Pathetically Righteous Hypocrites': the lie by the New York Times, the hole they dug themselves into, and the ultimate proof ('Rescue Me!').

2. Newsmutt nancy again embarrasses herself in 'Lie Like a Dog'.

1. One of the most flagrant of the newsliars, deborah, slanders Greta van Susteren ('Ends, Means, and a Shameful Lie'), then makes the cardinal mistake of trying to cover her tracks with falsehoods and fabrications ('Desperate Housewife'). A classic case of a dishonest fabulist caught in a humiliating maelstrom of mendacity.
