JamX is a simple MacOS X application that allows you to download
pictures from a KB Gear JamCam
3.0 via its USB port. The pictures are saved in JPEG format, suitable
for importing
into applications like iPhoto.
JamX is Shareware. It is fully functional, but if you find it useful

JamX requires MacOS X 10.1.3 or later. 10.1.x users also need Java
1.3.1 Update 1, available via Software Update.
JamX functionallity is now available as an Image Capture module from IOXperts Inc. This module allows
you
to directly view and download your camera images from programs like
iPhoto and Image Capture. Check
it out!
Important: If you have the IOXperts camera module installed you will
not be able to run JamX. You need one or the other, but not both.
OS 9 Users
An OS 9 device driver and application supporting the
JamCam came on the original CD with the camera. KB Gear seems to be out
of business so if you lost (or never had) the CD it's been hard to get
ahold of the software. I've uploaded a copy here.
Windows Users
