Introduction
- Fundamentally, the same rules apply as in the rule booklet of the basic game.
- The cathedral increases the value of each tile and pennant in a completed city from 2 points to 3. At the end of the game, an incomplete city with a cathedral earns zero points.
- The inn increases the value of every tile of a completed road to 2 points. Here too, at the end of the game an incomplete road with an inn earns zero points.

Does a player with one of the big followers earn twice as many points? No! The big follower is dealt with in exactly the same way as two small followers, and for two followers in a city, on a road or on a farm, you only earn points once. The only function of the big follower is to obtain the majority more quickly. For example, in a cloister the big follower earns precisely the same number of points as a smaller follower.

Is the ransom for the big follower doubled? No: he may be big, but he's still only one person.

Does it ever make a difference if I have a big meeple in a cloister or the shrine? It can make a difference in combination with The Count…, but he never leads to more points, or anything like that.

Cathedrals

Am I allowed to place cathedrals in other players' cities?Yes, that is allowed, and is particularly useful towards the end of a game, when it can strip a large city of an opponent of points. The same goes for roads with inns.
