WELCOME
The Circle is a dynamic group of creative women who have been studying and performing Middle Eastern dance together for years. Founded as Circle Dance Theater in 2002 by the internationally acclaimed dancer and teacher, Amelia Moore, The Circle has gone on to perform locally at numerous benefits, festivals, theaters, haflas, and nightclubs. The Circle performs original works of contemporary and traditional style bellydance. Their stylistic repertoire includes original choreographies and improvisational works inspired by Turkish, Persian, Egyptian, Roma, Armenian, North African, Flamenco and Greek traditions. Their dignified and emotionally expressive performances strive to communicate the passion, grace and drama of the ancient art of belly dance.
