DONAH
Since 1997, Donah (Maya) was drawn to the strength and vulnerability behind raqs al-sharqi. She draws inspiration from Amelia Moore of Children of the Revolution, Sabura, Delilah and Tina Sargent. Her love of dance continues in studying flamenco from Encarnacion and Sara de Luis as well as Orrisi from Dr. Ratna Roy.
