Elizabeth,
I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to thank you for renting us your house in Todi. Pergolaccio was Paradise, and we all enjoyed living in your beautiful home for a week. I wish I didn't have to leave! One of the highlights of our week was watching the world cup finals in the piazza in Todi. I'll never forget it.
Thanks for all your guidance and tips on restaurants, food shopping, Deruta, etc. We took advantage of it all! Hope to see you soon,
Pat

Hello Elizabeth,
I have been meaning to write to you to thank you for our holiday in your wonderful house in Tuscany. All the family really loved Pergolaccio - such style and comfort - and beautiful gardens in such a lovely setting. It was so hot...so we didn't do as much sightseeing as we would have wished but when we did it was so good to come back to such a peaceful setting and your super swimming pool.
It has been so hot here since we returned home and we have been busy picking fruit and having friends to stay. Our purchases from Deruta have arrived and look very good in the kitchen - a touch of Italy to remind us of a great holiday. Hope to come again some time,
Kind regards.
Linda

Hi Elizabeth,
Gail and I arrived back in LA from Rome yesterday. To say that we loved our
stay at Pergolaccio is an understatement. You and Domenico are lucky to have
such a wonderful Umbrian retreat.
Best, Al

Dear Elizabeth,
We loved your beautiful home. I can tell there is a lot of love there and
everything is placed with comfort and beauty in mind. Our friends
insisted we stay in the master suite and we loved it. I even slept
late everyday and I am a difficult sleeper. We loved the vistas and the
peace and calm. We cooked and made the fire everyday and the scents were
amazing. I deadheaded some of your plants as I love being in the garden. We
had beautiful sunsets. I could go on and on....
Much love and happiness to you,
Gail
P.S. We appreciated the informational book you put together. We put it to
good use - loved your recommendations.

Hi Elizabeth,
Firstly thankyou so much for the lovely 2 weeks we had at your house. We had
a wonderful holiday and loved the house and garden, especially the pool
area! Umbria was beautiful and we enjoyed Todi and Orvieto very much as well
as visiting Civita and Asissi which were amazing places too.
Many thanks again for a great vacation and I hope everything else was in
order on our departure.
Have a great summer.

Hello Elizabeth -
At long last, we have arrived home from our lengthy trip! We had a
marvelous time, and Italy was everything we imagined. We loved
staying at your house in Todi - it is such a special place. Our kids
(Hannah, now age 12, and Henry, age 5) were thrilled to not have any
walking tours or audio guides for the week, and just to hang out,
swim, play games and run around. It was the perfect anecdote to all
of the traveling we had done (and still had yet to do). It is such a
welcoming house, with lots of nooks for reading and relaxing and just
looking at the wonderful views.

We had a wonderful day of cooking with Christine Hickman; she's a
great teacher - very personable. She arrived right after breakfast
and stayed until nearly 5 PM, and had prepped quite a few things
ahead of time, including printing out and binding copies of our menu
for the day - a great keepsake. The menu was absolutely delicious,
and she gave us lots of tips and pointers on how to adapt the recipes
for American kitchens, and other recipes we might want to try out as
well. I would highly recommend her to any of your future guests.
Pergolaccio is such a special place - we are glad to have memories
and photos of it from our trip!
Best wishes,
Kate

Hi Elizabeth, We had a wonderful time in your lovely home. As you know, it was really hot, so we spent a lot of time in the pool. Thanks for all your help with information in advance. We loved Todi, Orvieto, Assisi and Deruta. And I absolutely love Rome. Next time I’d love to spend a month! Thanks again. Regards, Connie
