DESIGN PORTFOLIO: SOUNDS AND MUSIC

Opening music: The Trial Excerpt: Medusa Act II opener: It Pays to Advertise
This was part of a piece of music to which I added layers of recorded whispering.

Trial
This is an excerpt from a Noh/symbolist/postmodern piece performed at the Yale Cabaret for which I recorded all the words and music.

Medusa
This was the music following intermission for a production at the Yale Repertory Theatre; the play was written and takes place in 1914. I added sounds over previously recorded music.

Compositions Opening music: Hamlet Radio Spots
Two short compositions: the first illustrating the word "Aging", the second music for the song "Full Fathom Five" from Shakespeare's The Tempest.

FFF
This is a mockup of the opening storm sequence for a production of Hamlet at the Yale School of Drama. During this piece Horatio describes the state of Denmark and then Claudius and Gertrude have sex on a coffin.

Storm
This was a radio spot I designed and recorded for the Yale Repertory Theatre.
