Here
are some pix of our 4th sailing charter in the San Juan Islands
as well as a recent visit to Linda's family in Mount Shasta. There's
also a shot of sailing with friend Peter on his boat Asolare as
well as a shot of a great sail Keith and Renne's new Columbia '46.
Usually
the first two weeks of September in the San Juan's is a beautiful
indian summer. Not this year. We did get our share of sunny days
(as you can see by Linda's swimming pix). But we also got some cold,
rainy and windy days. Some good sailing and lots of interesting
navigating to "gunkholes" we've not seen before: Fisherman's
bay on Lopez Island, Garrison's Bay and a little excursion to Matia.
We loved our boat-- a 34' Bavaria with electric windlass, autopilot
and furling mainsail.
We
also took a little road side trip to Langley on Whitby island. Very
quaint. Found a great inn on the water.
Finally,
a recent shot of Ben and Jackie in their apartment.
