A mix of pix from March sailing and our recent trip to Japan where I gave a couple of talks for Stanford. This was my second trip to Japan and Linda's first. Apart from the flight which is a kind of torture, Japan itself was wonderful. Linda in particular connected with the people, the food, the shrines and temples and even the subway system. My favorite was the boat ride taking us under the bridges of Tokyo bay. Second favorite was the Asakusa temple and market area. We also loved our hotel in the Mejiro district. We also took a wonderful day trip to Kamakura with it's beautiful gardens, shrines and temples. More detail from Linda later. Finally, some pix from a great sail with friend Jeremy on Octavia.
