Rapid Prototyping of Mobile AppsAt AlterEgo we used several methods of rapid protoyping of wireless web sites. One was to mockup a clickthrough -- a runtime player in Director or a QuickTime movie that allowed someone experience what it might be like to interact with the content on a wireless device. Another method which became more practical as the tool advanced was to quickly create prototype "views" in AlterEgo Designer by dragging content into a project worksspace. These clickthroughs can also be used for quick user-testing of navigation, layout and so on.
