Universite de Montreal is the second largest french-speaking university in the world (behind the Sorbonne). I taught here for eight years in the communication department -- a subsection of the psychology department. I taught courses (in french) on human information processing, experimental design and lab courses on experimental video. During this period I also did basic research on language and perception (see cartoon-strip analogies) and applied research for the canadian government on perception of computer generated graphics
