SRI DataGotchi

SRI/CILT (Stanford Research Institute's Center for Information and Learning Technlogy) collaborated with IDEO to do a "deep dive" (a structured brainstorming technique) whose goal was to visualize a new ubiquitous hand-held educational device. The device was dubbed Datagotchi. The concept explored how probes and sensors could attached to the Datagotchi in order to measure and display real-world properties such as speed, motion, time and heat. My role was to work with Roy Pea and Jeremy Roschelle of SRI to plan the content of the deep dive and to help lead the deep dive itself.
