We have a particular interest in creating outdoor environments for children, having previously gained extensive knowledge of children’s diverse needs through 18 years combined experience working directly with children in play specialism and behaviour support.

We recognise the importance of play in a child’s life and design magical outdoor spaces that offer plenty of opportunities for discovery, play and interaction. We create green spaces where children of all ages and abilities are encouraged to use their senses, spaces where learning can take place.

Our designs often take inspiration from local environments and we source local materials whenever possible. We feel that gardens are ideal spaces for recreating natural environments that may not be easily accessible. The sound of trickling water in a stream, the feeling of sand between your toes whilst on the beach, the excitement of rolling down a gentle hillside and the warmth of dappled sunlight in a birch wood. All these experiences can be recreated and extended in our sensory gardens.
