Gnomes are just so last year!
I couldn't help noticing a decorative
addition to the garden, resplendent in it's red and green
livery....
I spent a very pleasant weekend over with the
folks in Portmellon, I wanted to spend some time there before they bugger off on
an epic trip round S America funded entirely by 20p pieces... (either an
impressive feat or a sad collecting fetish depending on how you look at it)..
But I digress, while I was there I couldn't help noticing a decorative addition
to the garden, resplendent in it's red and green livery of rust and moss and far
more impressive than the pathetic little garden gnome so beloved of old folk
everywhere... yep, a tractor. Marvellous, originality knows no bounds. No doubt
once this post goes live everyone will want one and the gnome market will
collapse. Hopefully those nasty little clay/plaster mushrooms will disappear
too.I can't help thinking though that
there is something missing.... I know, that empty seat, it's just crying out for
a jolly little shiny fellow in a pointy
hat.....
