May: I'm stupidly proud to be the owner of this one... having laid my hands on the frame last year my GanWell Pro hit the streets recently. It's a seriously rare beast and has become something of a collectors item.... read more here.

05 April: check out a lovely new piece of shiny retro jewellery from Nitto... a type-R bottle cage now gracing my Merckx... right here.

14 March: The list of ride guides for West Cornwall is slowly growing, hopefully by summer there'll be a decent archive to keep you amused!

04 March: CafeStop now online, my list of recommended cafes for cyclists in West Cornwall... right here.

28 Feb: I couldn't help myself.. I like playing around on my 'cross bike so much I had a nice chat with Mike DeSalvo who will now be crafting a custom Ti 'cross frame for me (in exchange for a few £££..). I can't wait, this bike will be competitive... Three Peaks Cyclocross in October just got added to my calendar, and I'll be eating beans and rice 'till then to pay for it.... :o)

why this site....?
well, aside from the fact that I like twiddling around with the web I'm also a cyclist.... (funny that). It's a known fact to many that the sport of cycling involves more than riding... it involves drooling over bikes, drooling over various bits of unfeasibly shiny and expensive bits of equipment, drooling over flapjacks and pint mugs of tea (yum) and drooling over the podium girls at the Tour de France... (well, assuming you're a typical male, otherwise you might be looking at the riders themselves... or not, depends if you find extreme tan lines, bulging legs and skinny torsos attractive).

I'm also lucky enough to live in a beautiful part of the world, Cornwall UK, with some fantastic cycling that is little publicised so over time I plan to update this site with some route ideas and accompanying photography.
