AAS Club Telescopes

There are currently three club scopes:

1. 8" Dob, Original mirror ground by Eric. The mirror has been refigured. We had first light after the June meeting, the images look promising. At this time, a new dob mount is being built for the scope.

2. John Ziemski sold his 12.5" Meade Dobsonian to the club. It has a-"pretty good mirror" that gives "decent sharp images", but the outside tube is a little rough. The scope comes with a finderscope, a 2" rack and pinion focuser. The base is included. It is now at Korrki for club use.

3. Ed's 17" Dob that is also kept at Korrki.
