Adam Ohana has been DJing and producing electronic music for over 10 years and has been an instrumental part of the underground music culture in SF. He is a founder of a variety of music companies... Eyephunk, Hunab Ku, Frequency-8 [F-8] and Ceiba Records and was an integral part of Blueroom America. More recently, he and his wife Jocelyn created Fusion Festival, a large annual electronic music festival showcasing electronic artists and culture from all over the globe. It has been groundbreaking, fusing various genres together like never before.
Ohana has a variety of Breaks releases scheduled for 2002 under the name an.ten.nae, and performs live using his laptop. Confirmed labels include Marine Parade, Functional Breaks, Muti Music and Eyephunk Recordings. The work of JON SCHWARK (aka VIDEOJON) is an exploratory catalog of blissfull dream states and dark end-game scenarios. Texture is applied through the mediums of fire and water, earth and air, and they in turn provide a baseline for forceful evocations of our epic dichotomies: culture and nature, body and machine, war and love. His performances are conducted in the true VJ format: they include his own video and animations, remixes and re-edits of the work of obscure experimental artists and VJs, and recontextualizations of mainstream film and television. Schwark is probably best known in visual arts and experimental film circles as the co-host of Dimension7's VIDEO SALON. He is also video coordinator for the underground art collective INFINITE KAOS, curating and performing at their regular parties, and the yearl ASCENSION event. He directed the Red Bull Sponsored VJ dvd LEVITATE, and produced the ASCENSION video tapes, and several documentary segments for Electronica-Optica's VJTV.
