Moving Puzzle is a simple but addictive puzzle game for the iPhone or iPod Touch. In fact, it's even two games in one!

You have a choice between either swapping or sliding the pieces of the puzzle into place. But while you do so, the picture is not standing still! It is scrolling over the tiles so it's not easy to keep track of which piece belongs where.

Features

• Two different kinds of puzzle: either swapping pieces or sliding with a gap like a classic "15"-puzzle
• Move pieces by either tapping or dragging them.
• Six included pictures, and you can choose any picture from your own library as well, or even take one with your iPhone's camera
• Choose the number of pieces (3x3 up to 15x15), the scrolling speed, and the scrolling direction (up, down, left, right, or swerving in random directions)
• The puzzle automatically rotates to landscape or portrait mode when you rotate the device, filling the entire screen if possible

Frequently asked questions

Q: The sliding puzzle seems to be unsolvable! I cannot swap the last two pieces.
A: The puzzle is always solvable with the missing piece (gap) at the bottom right. If all the pieces are moved up or down a few lines (or left or right if the image is scrolling sideways), the image will look the same but the missing piece will be in a different location. The puzzle may be solvable that way too, in about 50% of the cases, but you will often end up with just two pieces needing to be swapped, which is impossible to do. Don't give up, though! Just figure out which is the missing piece, and which piece is supposed to be immediately below it. Now start over by moving that piece to the top right corner, and you will see the puzzle is solvable after all!
