 Laguna Beach artist Michael R. Evans , presents “The Artist Studio Tour and Salon.” Michael will take you on a journey through space and time using the language of art and play to help explain our place in the universe. He blends art with science using a multi-media presentation of geometric sculpture and light. This unique presentation uses optics invented by Michael, lasers, mirrors and music.
On display in this museum setting is art work that spans several generations of the Evans family which includes his father, mother, uncle, son Damen, and wife designer, D.N. Evans.
The “Artist Sunset Studio Tour” is reminiscent of the days of “Salon” found in Europe at the turn of the century and is available for small groups and individuals serving “High Tea” to a full on gourmet dinning experience.
Michael graduated from the Laguna College of Art and Design, formerly known as the Art Institute of Southern California. His art has been featured at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, The Laguna Beach Museum of Art and every Major Museum and Planetarium in the United States.
Tours start at $10.00 children are free. This unique experience is by appointment.
