The Central Missouri & Southern serves many small towns nestled deep in the hills and valleys of the Ozarks. Millers Creek, with its varied industries, is especially important.

The structures seen in the photos on these four pages are a combination of scratch built and kit built. The kits include Builders in Scale's Weiry & Sons, G.W. Nichols Wood Products, and Sasson Vinegar; and Magnuson Model's Allen's Wrench (nka "Ozark Tool & Die"). Johnson's Cider Mill was scratchbuilt following an E. L. Moore article in an old (1970's) issue of Railroad Model Craftsman. Millers Creek was featured in the March/April 2001 issue of Finescale Railroader.
