Who Should Take the Course

This course is designed for mental health professionals with graduate degrees and for graduate students in mental health and related fields. As such, it is appropriate for social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, substance abuse counselors, clergy and educators.

 

This course is designed for professionals licensed to practice within their professions, or for graduate students who are pursuing such licensure.

 

Format and Presentation

As an internationally recognized and growing psychotherapeutic discipline, logotherapy draws interest from participants around the world. Course objectives can, therefore, be more effectively met by using electronic and Internet based content. Content will be delivered in the form of an “eBook” – a computer file in Portable Document Format (PDF) – available for download to class participants. Additional content will be delivered in the form of recorded lectures that will be available for download in .mp3 or .m4a format.

 

Participants will be enrolled in “Overview of Logotherapy” once they have indicated their interest in enrolling and have paid the enrollment fee to Defiant Power Solutions. They will then be given electronic assess to the course materials. Participants will have six months from the date payment is received to complete the course materials at home and at their own pace.

 

Completion of the course will be indicated by (1) a signed statement by the participant of having followed course instructions; (2) a completed examination; and (3) a completed form that evaluates the course and the instructor. If the participant answers 70% of the examination items correctly, the participant will be issued a Certificate of Completion.

 

Payment and the required forms may be sent either electronically or by traditional postal services. The Certificate of Completion will be sent both electronically and by traditional postal services unless otherwise requested by the participant.

Means of Evaluation

Participants will be evaluated by means of an objective test covering essential information from the course. Participants must respond correctly to 70% of the items given. An evaluation of the instructor will be administered to participants at the conclusion of the course.
