Our Leaders: Creating a Nation of Obedient People (Sheeple) by Dumbing People Down So They Won't Think

Alternative news and information site designed to get people to think instead of acting like lambs sent to the slaughter who are lied to and by manipulative leaders.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be." --Thomas Jefferson to Charles Yancey, 1816

Thinking Project Ideas

In addition to working on a power point presentation, students will work on the following projects for their classes this year with me.

  1. Time Line - Student will maintain timelines of historical data, highlights,  and information on their computer.  They will use inspiration to design their timeline and use their network drive to keep what they are doing on it.

  2. Research Paper - Students will be responsible for researching various topics and producing a research paper from their efforts.  They will have one research papers - one per semester.  This paper is worth 10% of your grade so you must do it.

  3. PowerPoint Presentation

  4. Historical Flyers and Cartoons -

  5. Creating Scavenger Hunts -  Scavenger Hunts can be good starting points to help students practice information seeking skills. But a Scavenger Hunt can have a focus and go beyond collecting "nuggets" of information. You can use it to "stake out" the topic, before engaging in its study.

  6. Creating a Webquest - an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web.

  7. Historical Video - Student will have to work on one video for the semester.  It will be due by the end of the semester.  You will be working with two other students on this video.

  8. Creating Flash Cards - Flash cards: pieces of paper or cardboard with words or pictures on them. We usually use flash cards in a lesson to teach or reinforce certain ideas.

  9. Literature Research -

  10. Multimedia and Graphics Projects

  11. Lessons in Computer Graphics - Optical Illusions
