Lockheed KC-130F Hercules "Fat Albert"

This is my version of KC-130F BuNo 150690, the original "Fat Albert."

This was a rebuild of this kit. It was originally marked as C-130T BuNo 164763, the current "Fat Albert", which is the most commonly seen Blue Angel Blue and White sceme. 'Bert was built as part of Aircraft Resource Center's Airshow Group Build. The original model was damaged in the move from Arlington, TX to Huntsville, AL; the movers managed to pack it, an AC-130A, S-3A, YF-23 and F-16C in a box and proceed to stuff yard toys, equipment and two bowling balls on top of them.

The overall color is FS17875 Insignia White, with an FS17038 Gloss Black cheat line and FS37038 Flat Black radome. The red intake warning areas on the nacelles are FS11136 Insignia Red. The model was painted using Model Master enamels. The decals came from an extremely old aftermarket set from Golden Wings. The decals proved to be somewhat difficult to keep together due to their age.
