Lama Kathy Wesley is a western lama and journalist, who has practiced Tibetan Buddhism since 1977. She met Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery while interviewing him for a local newspaper in Columbus, Ohio. She participated in the first three-year retreat led by Rinpoche @ Karme Ling Retreat Center in Delhi, New York. She travels extensively throughout the U.S. teaching.
