Nancy Rayner, RNP

Nancy entered the medical field straight out of high school, having been trained as a Medical Assistant during her senior year.  She continued on that ladder when she became a LVN and then on to earn her RN at University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1981.  In 1984 she graduated from Harbor-UCLA’s Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program.

Her work experience has been varied over the years; from working at Harbor-UCLA’s OB/GYN ER, to the South Bay Free Clinic’s OB program, then onto St. Francis Medical Center’s outpatient clinics where she became their Clinical Director.  She then entered the Health Ministry field through Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center’s Foundation where she developed and coordinated several community outreach programs, such as a Community Health Promotora Program and Senior Services.  During that time she also trained to become a Parish Nurse.

In 2003 she joined Maternal-Fetal Medicine Associates and in addition to providing direct patient care, she oversees the clinical aspects for the practice.  She continues to volunteer her time with health fairs and outreach programs in this community.
