D-4 oz. Salmon, 4 sea scallops (steamed), marinated broccoli,

dressing.
Forbidden (7:30 PM) - 1 brownie bite, microwave popcorn -
could have been worse. Update: It got worse (11:15 PM): 1/4 loaf challah, 3
Pepperidge Farms Double Chocolate Milanos.
Exercise: Blew it off in
lieu of completing an expense report. I feel guilty.
Water: Not even
worth mentioning
7 year old: Dad, you want a Brownie
Bite?
Me: Umm (pause)...OK!
7 year old: You
better get that 6-Pack!
Me: I promise, I will.
7 year
old: Dad, I have a girlfriend!
Me: Oh yeah? What's her
name?
7 Year old: Brianna
Me: What does she do for a
living?
7 year old: (looks at me puzzled) She stares at
me...
Me: What do you do?
7 year old: I hold my notebook
up.
Me: What else does she do?
7 year old: She chases me
around the school yard
Me: Hmmm. Girls are cool huh?
7 year
old: Yeah, they are!
I don't think I went public with even liking
girls, let alone having a girlfriend when I was in second grade. If he comes
home tomorrow and asks for the car keys, I'm going to have to have a talk with
him.
Other than that funny exchange (these are the times when
parenthood is fun), I am needing to get out of a rut. One trip to the gym should
do it. I better get my arse out of the house tomorrow!
