Today's Workout



Before I go into today's workout, I never posted last week's strength training workout. I put it together rather quickly since I was in a foreign gym (San Diego) and all the machines were different and fun? to find. Repeated following circuit 2 more times

Lat Pull down 90# 12
Iso (wide grip) lateral chest press 110# 12
Narrow grip overhand cable pushdowns 100# (2 pulley) 12
Wide grip underhand cable pushdowns 90# (2 pulley) 12
Cable flys - upper 60# 12
Cable flys - lower 50# 12
Incline bench press 95# 12
with incline dumbbel curls 15# 12
Chest press machine 105# 12
Precor Abench crunches 60, 60, 60

I did the above circuit last Monday with cardio on Thursday. My new routine with the trainer (that started last Friday,) I repeated today. I will do it again on Thursday and a new session will be on Saturday with the trainer. I intend to do cardio tomorrow and Friday.

Here is the new circuit that started last Friday, that I completed today:

Wide grip lat pull downs 100# 12
Barbell curls 55# 12
Cable pushdowns 70# 12
Upright rows 55# 12
V crunches (did slow ones) 35,30,30,30
(note: the above circuit doesn't look like much but my shirt looked like I did an hour on the elliptical)

I did the above circuit 4 times and the below mini circuit (did 3 times):

Lying leg curls 80# 12
Pec Dec (chest flys) 50# 12
Machine lateral raises 50# 12

No cardio per trainer. Why do I feel guilty? I'll go with it for now.
