Day 319 - Scenes from and Italian Restaurant
B- 1/2 bagel, lite cream cheese, 1 egg over easy, ff
yogurt
Lunch and Dinner: (1:30 - 4:00) at brother-in-law's mom's
75th birthday party at an Italian restaurant: many cups of chicken escarole
soup, lots of small pieces of very good, crusty Italian bread with pats of real
butter, a couple of servings of salad, a few servings of penne pasta in a very
good "gravy" (sauce) as the rest of the world calls it. Chicken parmesan,
roasted potatoes, small piece of cake with a slice of ice cream shaped in a
circle (3.5 - 4" in diameter x 3/4 inch thick) x 2 - I ate my son's too. He
didn't want his. I swear.
Late night snack/meal: 8:30 PM - bagel
with margarine and strawberry preserves. Later:
(snack size) bag of
Cheetos, 3-5 double chocolate Milanos,
Water: at least 40
oz.
Exercise: 10 minutes stretching, 20 minutes on treadmill,
35 minutes on elliptical, 5 minutes stretching.
Bad afternoon, real
bad. No excuses, I just folded. I did make it to the gym though. I probably took
me 15 minutes of eating to kill 55 minutes of cardio. And then the stint of
eating in evening. I didn't even put in the effort to eat
healthy.
Just a bad day.
