Day 314 - On the road to Planet of the Thin

Me: Are you sure this looks OK (pointing to my waist)... tucking my shirt in?
Wife: Yes it does
Me: Are you sure?
Wife: YES!
Me: You know I am not use to this. It feels weird. You would tell me if it didn't look good, right?
Wife: You bet I would!
Me: I know you would too. You would cut me down any chance you could! LOL!
Wife: LOL!

This dialogue has been taking place in one form or another during the past month. I guess for me it is the equivalent of the "Does my ass look big in these jeans?" dialogue that women have.

It is weird how I feel self conscious about this aspect. I never had this issue when I was a lot heavier and wore the shirt out over the pants. There was no issue - I was overweight, obese. This is how we dress - shirt out, period.

I still like my baggy XL shirts even though I am a size Large. Although a lot of the weight in the gut has been shed, *something* remains behind in its space.
