The team worked as one, smoothly passing each specialist’s suggestion on to the next one, so everyone knew to what end they were working.

The makeover was not only enormous fun but I was extremely impressed with the detailed knowledge of each member of the team, which they were eager to communicate.

I thought that being analysed and criticised in such detail would be difficult to bear, but Val and his team work with such care, charm and enthusiasm that they really made me feel at ease.

It is a treat to be the centre of attention and be given the chance to understand how to choose, what to choose and why to choose it.

My new look is stunning! Your team really came through for me, the makeover is worth every penny.

I was nervous at first because I'm a bit of a control freak, but they are really careful and considerate about making their suggestions. After a little while I realised they seemed so in tune with me I started to relax, and by the end I had to hand it to them. They really know what they are doing.

I tried things that I would never have thought of myself. Most importantly, my boyfriend nearly fell out of his chair! BIG SUCCESS! On top of it all, the photos are the best I've ever taken. I'm very impressed.

Could you book me in for the 12th because I have a very important meeting and want to experiment with the other look that Val was talking about.

I can't believe my eyes! Every time I look in the mirror, I think 'Who's that great looking woman?' I feel about 10 years younger.

My husband thinks I look like Michelle Pfeiffer. I know he's probably lying but I can't deny it makes me feel good. People at work are so impressed, I think that my assistant Leslie might have called you already. The whole office wants your number, so I have referred them to your wonderful website.

My hair colour is the best I've ever had, and all those make-up tips are really going to come in handy.
