DVD REVIEW: Jet Li's 'Fearless'




My quick review of "Jet Li's Fearless" is live at The DVD Journal.

One of the coolest things I've experienced as a film writer was meeting Jet Li in Seattle last year. He was almost shockingly humble, traveled without an entourage, and attacked every question with a can-do earnestness that didn't feel affected in the slightest. He was also more interested in talking about philosophy than his own showmanship. (It was one of the few times I've interviewed a celebrity and come away inspired to be a better person.)

Here's the interview that resulted. And here's an hour-long phone chat I had around the same time with "Fearless" director Ronnie Yu.
