Film-critic throwdown: Me vs. Dave Walker, Saturday night!




I gather from this article in Willamette Week -- in which WW film critic Dave Walker drops knowledge about me owing him money -- that he and I are going to have some words when we meet Saturday night to judge the Gore-O-Rama-A-Go-Go II bad-film festival at Bossanova:

"... considering the fact M.E. Russell of The Oregonian owes me money, don't be surprised if there's a little unscheduled 'entertainment' at the event. Russell packs a mean punch, but I'm fully prepared to take a metal chair to his head if he doesn't cough up the dough."

Oh, don't you worry, Walker. I'll be waiting with a fistful of quarters, all right. Run you down with my Segway.
