Remembering the "Celluloid Superhero Smackdown"



Now that we're DSL-enabled, this seems as good a time as any to upload the full Oregonian A&E cover package that paved the way for me to launch the CulturePulp comic strip in the first place.

So. Here, in three parts, is my comic-strip breakdown of the history of comic-book movies -- as it more or less appeared in the April 2, 2004 A&E:
