Experience
Art
- Taught for 6 1/2 years in Wisconsin, four in Milwaukee, 1/2 year (long-term sub) in Fond du Lac, and two in Antigo (northern Wisconsin). All were public schools.
- Special populations included: students with mild to severe disabilities (cognitive, emotional, physical, learning), gifted/talented, English as a Second Language.
- Implemented Discipline-Based Art Education (DBAE) methodology and collaborated with classroom teachers on a regular basis.
- Set up art shows at school and in local businesses
Computer Technology
- Technology Integration Faciliator in India for three years, Technology Coordinator/Facilitator for four years in Serbia, two in Tunisia and in Mali, and as a technology integration specialist in Milwaukee for one year prior to going overseas.
- At all places I utilized an integrative approach and worked closely with classroom teachers.
- Set up school's first technology program in Mali and significantly expanded the programs in Tunisia and Serbia - both schools which experienced exponential population growth.
- Designed the Integrative Technology program for the elementary school in Chennai, India and collaborated with Tech Director to significantly expand the availablity of technology within the classroom.
