419. Thrilled to Death

Melinda and Eli help a ghost settle his unfinished business with Morgan Jefferies, a beautiful young woman of mystery played by guest star Hillary Duff. She may be involved in the death of a man who fell victim – literally – to a freak accident.

Gloria Muzio (“Save Our Souls” and 3 others) directs from a script by Co-Executive Producer Laurie McCarthy (“Leap of Faith” and 9 others) and Supervising Producer Jeannine Renshaw (“Slow Burn” and 9 others). Kenneth Mitchell returns as Sam Lucas along with Dariush Kashani as medic Bobby Tooch. Guest stars include Kids’ and Teen Choice award winner Hillary Duff (Lizzie McGuire, A Cinderella Story), four time Emmy nominee Susan Ruttan (L.A. Law), Currie Graham (Raising the Bar), and Kieren Hutchinson (One Tree Hill, Riding High).

Moran lives in the same building as Eli, and is being haunted by the ghost of Rick Hartman. Melinda and Eli track the connection to a cancer support group they were both members of, to find out that Morgan is dying herself. Rick had died 6 months ago in a tragic parachuting accident, the ironic thing is his job, when he was alive, was an actuary – someone who assesses risks of others. With a little investigating by Melinda and Eli, we find out that Rick had cancer and had made a “bucket list” of things he was to accomplish be he died, the last thing on his list though was “Morgan.”
