Melinda and Sam go on a road trip into his past and end up in trouble, from bar fights to disruptive ghosts, and Melinda comes face to face with the biggest threat yet to her romantic hopes.

Kenneth Mitchell continues as Sam Lucas with guest stars Terri Polo (Meet the Parents, The West Wing) 3 time Emmy winner Dan Castellenata (The Simpsons), Kaylee Defer (The War at Home), Elizabeth Pena (Rush Hour, Lone Star), Golden Globe nominee Bitty Schram (Monk), J.R. Nutt (Runaway Stars), and Ruth Livier (Resurrection Blvd).

The blood-speckled ghost of Frank Whittaker has been trapped in the back of a rental truck for three years. An unwelcome third wheel, he tags along on Melinda and Sam’s road trip. He’s happy to move into the light – but only after Melinda performs a long-overdue favor for him. Sam convinces Cheryl, an old roommate of Nicole “Nikki” Price, to give him a forwarding number, so he can contact her. Cheryl is drop dead gorgeous, which makes Melinda very jealous that Sam is talking to her. Meanwhile, Logan, a teenage friend of Ned’s hears of his housesitting gig and shows up at Melinda’s with a bunch of kids in tow, ready to booze it up and party down.
