Melinda visits the Mayor of Grandview and asks him to cancel the memorial dedication they are holding. Melinda speaks to the ghost of a mailman and is looking for a young girl named Kristen. Also Melinda and Professor Payne search for some children when their nanny says that they left with a man named Graham. And a mysterious man tries to get Melinda to not help the good guys.

Cryptic clues from a prophetic ghost and a bizzare encounter with a stranger warn Melinda of a tragic event linked to the dark side. Fearing that the dark side is becoming more powerful than the light, Melinda searches for the meaning behind mythological clues before another tragedy strikes Grandview, in the conclusion to the second season finale.
