While Melinda is at the university’s botany lab she deals with some telekinetic events while dealing with a plant from Peru that is bleeding. Melinda finds that she must help a Doctor save herself. After a mud-covered ghost transports Melinda from her closet in Grandview to a plant-filled jungle, she uncovers a new mystery involving one of Professor Payne’s colleagues. Victoria Hochberg directed the episode from a script by Jim Kouf.
Jay Mohr (Last Comic Standing) returns in a recurring role as Professor Rick Payne.
Melinda’s eerie encounters with a ghost continue to alter her surroundings to an unknown jungle filled with exotic plants and tribal manikins. Unfortunately, the ghost is plagued by a horrible condition that limits his speech and makes it difficult for Melinda to determine his needs. After a visit to Professor Payne links him to the ghost, he heatedly questions Melinda’s motives for her intuitive inquiries.
