Melindas gift of helping people is jeopardized after she injures her head in an accident. Ian Sander, one of the series Executive Producers, directed the episode from a script by series Producer Catherine Butterfield.
Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominee Anne Archer (Fatal Attraction) returns as Melindas mother.
After Melinda falls and injures her head, she discovers that she can no longer communicate with earthbound sprits and fears that she has lost her gift forever. To complicate matters, Melinda is asked to help comfort a teenage girl who is devastated by the recent death of her boyfriend. Now, Melinda faces the challenge of helping the young teenager crossover while questioning whether her gift will ever return.
