Melinda helps a teenage boy, who died in a freak accident after discovering he was adopted, find his birth mother. After several spooky run-ins with the tormented dead teenager, Melinda is able to calm him down enough to uncover the secret that threatens to devastate those he left behind. James Frawley directed the episode from a script by Lois Johnson.
The spirit of a teenage boy approaches Melinda about finding his birth mother. Unsure of where to begin, Melinda approaches the boy’s adoptive mother for more information and learns that his real mother never wanted to know her son. After meeting his birth mother, Melinda is left with the challenge of securing an affirmation of her love for her son so he can crossover.
