Melinda Gordon just got married; during the dinner she sees something being drawn on the window and she knows its a ghost. But for the first time, the ghost comes inside her house and that unsettles her. Despite being afraid, she tries to help him reunite with his family and pass along the message he needs her to say. Creator and Executive Producer John Gray wrote and directed the episode.

In the premiere episode, Melinda is contacted by the spirit of a soldier who says he is lost. Melinda thinks he may not realize that he is dead so she does some research and discovers that he was classified MIA in 1972. However, when she contacts the soldiers son about his father, he thinks Melinda is trying to scam him and now Melinda must find a way to help both father and son find closure.
