Last night I took the usual subway ride home (the 4 or 5 Lexington Avenue Express train from downtown to Grand Central and then the number 6 Lexington Avenue local train to 77th Street). After relaxing at the Command Bunker, I departed and took the 6 train to Grand Central and then the shuttle to Times Square followed by a 2 or 3 Express train to 96th Street and then a 1 local to 168th Street. I then walked a few blocks to United Palace Theatre. Inside at our seats I met the SupremeMinister for another phenomenal Bob Dylan concert. Fortunately there was no opening act. Dylan always puts on a great show but last night he was more inspired than usual. The arrangements on this leg of the Never Ending Tour were precise with an introspective jazzy feel. He did "Gotta Serve Somebody" with updated lyrics. "Ain't Talkin'" was mesmerizing and "Desolation Row" was fantastic. The set list is thus:

Gotta Serve Somebody
The Times They Are A-Changin'
The Levee's Gonna Break
Tomorrow Is A Long Time
Things Have Changed
Desolation Row
It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)
Beyond The Horizon
Til I Fell In Love With You
Make You Feel My Love
Honest With Me
Spirit On The Water
Highway 61 Revisited
Ain't Talkin'
Thunder On The Mountain
Like a Rolling Stone
All Along The Watchtower
Blowin' In The Wind

After the concert we took the A train from 168th Street to 42nd Street. The SupremeMinister than took another subway back to his lair and I took the shuttle to Grand Central and then the 6 train back to the bunker.

Nothing too much of note happened during the week just work and life. I did have an appointment with the diabolical dermatologist. On Sunday the SupremeMinister and I saw the highly recommended film Slumdog Millionaire. See it now!
