Meglomanious is the People!

Click here and go in peace!

Some exciting highlights from the struggle:

On Tuesday, the SupremeMinister and I saw The Black Crowes at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

On Wednesday I went to midtown for a business lunch.

On Saturday I met with a comrade at Scratchers before proceeding to a Thai restaurant on Second Avenue

Upcoming concerts now include Bob Dylan (for the 24th time!!), Ray Davies, AC/DC, Neil Young and Metallica.

One of the great things about NYC is seeing all the various international business people and tourists. The other day on the way to work a group of high school kids plus two teachers got on the train at Grand Central. They all had English accents. NYC is a cool place and it is always fascinating to travel to a foreign country. There is something about doing things when young that makes the experience even more intense. I envied these kids from the UK.

I never give money to panhandlers or to the musicians and street performers. The exception is that I usually give to the mariachis who perform in the subway trains. They are usually pretty good and I figure they could be supporting large families back in Mexico. Last night a saxophone player was performing the them from the Godfather on the train on the way home. It brought a smile to my imperial face because I just recently watched the entire Godfather trilogy (remastered!) on blu-ray DVD, so I gave him one US dollar.

I am cautiously optimistic when it comes to the election next week, but I know how ignorant and susceptible the average American can be to irrational propaganda and the politics of fear.

Speaking of politics and ignorance as well as fear, I just finished reading a book that should be considered a "must read" by all voters: America's War On Sex by Marty Klein. Read it now!
